The Men of Vision Fellowship meets every First
Saturday at 11:00 a.m.
THE PURPOSE OF THE MEN OF VISION FELLOWSHIP IS TO
PROMOTE THE VISION OF
FIRST
BAPTIST
CHURCH BY
- helping the men of our church to understand the dimensions
of the Christian Faith and to enhance their walk
with the Lord, that they might become active in Christian
service;
- helping the men of our church to become steadfast husbands,
fathers, sons, and brothers, and to promote the establishment and
maintenance of Christian homes;
- helping the men of our church to demonstrate loyalty and
devotion to our church family and properties, and to provide
protection and support for the women of our congregation;
- promoting healthy Christian attitudes within the young men
of our congregation and community, and to take part in Christian
social action.
The
original Men’s Fellowship was begun by Rev. Mary Wallace in 1960,
under the pastorate of Rev. S.H. Carter. The Men of Vision seeks men
who are
