Elder Tony Jennings is a native of
Halifax County,
Virginia. He met the Lord at an early age, as a member of the
Miracle
Revival
Fellowship
Holiness
Church, in
Long Island,
Virginia.
Elder
Jennings was called to
the ministry during his
junior year of High School and preached his trial sermon
at
Miracle
Revival
Fellowship
Holiness
Church in
Long Island,
Virginia.
Upon graduation from the
Halifax
County Public School System, he
entered the United States Navy.
He
spent thirteen years on active duty serving with the United States
Navy and the United States Marine
Corp.
While serving in the military, he earned a degree in Business
Administration. Upon
leaving the military,
he accepted at job with Vista Host
Hospitality, in Pensacola,
Florida.
He joined
First
Baptist
Church in 2001. He serves as an Associate
Minister at the First
Baptist Church
in Wood-
ford,
Virginia. Elder
Jennings serves on
several committees at the church. God has blessed him with
a ministry
of helps At First Baptist, Elder
Jennings assists in the
teaching and music ministries of the church.
Elder
Jennings is currently
enrolled in the Triangle Bible Institute, Triangle, and
Virginia. He has been
employed
with the Carfaro Hospitality Management
Company for the past two years, serving as Director
of Operations.
Elder
Jennings has been
involved with various religious and music conventions. He is a member of the Stella
Award Nominee Gospel Music Workshop of
America Mass Choir and the GMWA Men of Promise. “I take no
credit for the work I do. I owe it all to God and I
feel blessed that for some reason He has chosen me to make
a difference in people’s lives. It’s only because of JESUS
that I’m still here.”
He’s grateful that the Lord chosed
him to spread the Good News of
Christ.
